Kt Kingtronics shares you how to bend or cut wires of Axial Lead Diodes. There are several things that you should pay attention to. Please compare with the correct and wrong doing.

Fig.2: Now the bending process begins. Only the wire which must be bent is unclamped, while the diode itself is fixed.

1N4148 Description:

The 1N4148 is a small signal, high-speed switching diode.

Typically found in a DO-35 glass axial package it is very useful at high frequencies and are very popular in low-current applications.

Currently the 1N4148 is sourced by manufacturers.It is also known as the 1N914.

VRRM = 100V (Maximum Repetitive Reverse Voltage)

IO = 200mA (Average Rectified Forward Current)

IF = 300mA (DC Forward Current)
