There are two kinds of size representations of chip capacitors, one is expressed in inches, one is expressed in millimeters, and the series models of chip capacitors are 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1812, 2010, 2225… is the inch representation, 04 means the length is 0.04 inches, 02 means the width is 0.02 inches, other similar.

 A Zener Diode is a special type of rectifying diode that permits current to flow in the forward direction as normal, but will also allow it to flow in the reverse direction when the voltage is above a certain value – the breakdown voltage known as the Zener voltage.

Since 2018, the price hike of semiconductors has been rising from silicon wafers, passive components, MOSFETs to resistors, aluminum electrolytic capacitors, and now diodes continue to rise in price, and the price increase far exceeds expectations. In second half of 2018, we met tough challenge with SOT-23 package diodes and transistors raw material supplies.

The 1N4148 is a small signal, high-speed switching diode.

Typically found in a DO-35 glass axial package it is very useful at high frequencies and are very popular in low-current applications.
