Every country has its own national day which stands for the beginning of nation, so the National Day is very important for a country to celebrate.

The National Day of the People's Republic of China is celebrated every year on October 1. It is a public holiday in China and normally we have holidays from Oct 1st to Oct 7th. 
 
During this period, a variety of government-organized festivities such as fireworks and concerts are in full swing. We will also visit families and friends for holiday gathering.
 
Public places, such as Tiananmen Square in Beijing, are decorated in a festive theme. Portraits of revered leaders, such as Mao Zedong, are publicly displayed.
 
What a great day for all Chinese people around the world.
